Thoughts on Leadership
“Two pages in two months…..”, “Client is not happy with your work, you may have to return……”
“ What happened??, what we did not do well ??” “What we should do now ??” ….
It all started when I was on assignment at customer place, one day my manager came and informed me that the things are not in a good state and client is not very pleased with my work. I was also told to focus on work which does not involve external clients and I lack ‘Thought leadership’.
The last point stuck me very strongly, whether to accept it or reject and on what basis?? .. then after sometime I smiled and concluded that I may or may not have ‘Thought leadership” but definitely I have my “Thoughts on leadership” and hence this blog. I also decided to use the name which I used use for my mailing list way back in 1998-99 “Thoughts@WORK” to use as my blog name ( Sincerely I was not aware till recently that there is company called Thought Works, hope I’m not doing a copyright/trademark infringement!! )
